Founding
Our story began in 2009 when founders Joe, Gary, and Jeet, friends working at a packing shed in Bakersfield, California, shared a dream of becoming truck drivers. By 2010, they had earned their Class A licenses, and after five years of hard work, they saved enough to become owner-operators. Purchasing three trucks and three reefer trailers, they officially launched Stanford.
From running loads across the country, we've grown significantly. By 2020, Stanford boasted 35 trucks, 45 trailers, and 60 drivers. Today, in 2025, our fleet includes over 100 trucks and 180 reefer trailers.
Our ambition is clear: to be a trusted and safe carrier, recognized as one of the most successful and respected trucking companies in the industry.
